INTEGRITYOne Partners Helps Build Community
RESTON, Va. – Nov 25, 2009 – INTEGRITYOne Partners, a public sector consulting services firm recognized for the creative solutions, innovative ideas, discipline, and rigor its high-performing teams deliver to clients, recently worked with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia to help build the nine-unit Maple Ridge condominium building in Fairfax.
A group of 15 INTEGRITYOne team members, family members, and friends spent the entire day on Saturday, November 21, completing painting, finish carpentry, and landscaping tasks among the building’s three two-bedroom and six two-bedroom units and common areas.
"Of the myriad ways to help build a better community, a day of service with Habitat for Humanity is both direct and poignant,” said INTEGRITYOne Managing Partner Michael Waddell. “As we tried in a small way to give something back to our community, the day ended up helping our team prepare for Thanksgiving by getting us more in touch with how much we’ve each been given.”
Following an 8:30 a.m. briefing, the INTEGRITYOne team spent the day cutting molding (coping), cutting and painting baseboards, painting window boxes, mixing plaster, and digging ditches. The Maple Ridge condominium building is one of several projects of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, an organization committed to building “simple, decent, and affordable” homes for 65 families in Northern Virginia.
